Vanuatu Zipline Operations Ltd, trading as Vanuatu Jungle Zipline, runs this website and our tours. This page explains what personal information we collect, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Bookings: the lead guest's name, email, phone or WhatsApp, country, pickup point, the number of guests and any notes you give us.
- Safety waivers: the name of each person taking part, and for children the name of the parent or guardian who signs. If you tick the box, your email for our news and offers.
- Resident rates: a photo of your residency ID and a selfie, so reception can check the resident rate is yours.
- Hotels and tour desks: the business details, contact emails, ID and logo you send when you apply.
- Your location, only if you choose to share it, so our driver can find you.
- Card payments are made on the secure Payzen form of BRED Vanuatu. We never see or store your card number.
Why we use it
To run your booking (confirmations, pickups, changes and refunds), to keep you safe on the course, to issue the VAT receipts the law requires, to answer your questions, and, only if you agreed, to send occasional news and offers. We do not sell your information.
Who it goes to
Only the services we need to run the business: BRED Vanuatu and Payzen (card payments), the Department of Customs and Inland Revenue (VAT receipts), our email provider (booking emails), and our hosting provider (the website and its database, in Australia). Hotels or tour desks that booked for you see their own bookings.
How long we keep it
Booking, payment and receipt records are kept for as long as Vanuatu tax law requires. Waivers are kept in case of an incident. ID photos for resident rates are kept only while the resident rate is in use. You can ask us to stop sending news at any time.
Cookies
We use a cookie only to remember your language and, for our staff, to keep them signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.
